Job Description

We are working on an exciting client-side opportunity for an experienced residential property professional.

This role sits within a growing specialist residential management team and offers the chance to combine hands-on portfolio responsibility with day-to-day oversight of a wider team across a high-profile prime central London portfolio.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone from a strong block management background who is looking to move client side, or for an existing team leader seeking a broader and more visible role.

The role

You will support the day-to-day running of a residential management team covering a prime portfolio across central London. Alongside a small personal portfolio, you will act as a senior point of support to property managers and facilities managers, helping to drive service delivery, resident communication, technical consistency and financial oversight across the wider portfolio.

You will also contribute to improving processes, reporting and ways of working as the residential function continues to evolve.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day service delivery across a residential management team

  • Support property managers and facilities managers on resident, lease and operational matters

  • Act as an escalation point for more complex issues

  • Manage a small residential portfolio directly

  • Oversee budgeting, service charge and expenditure reporting across the team

  • Support communication with leaseholders and residents

  • Help improve operational processes, reporting and systems

  • Contribute to a more proactive and consistent residential management approach

Candidate profile

We are keen to speak with candidates who have a strong background in residential block management and who are comfortable operating in a high-expectation environment.

You are likely to have:

  • solid residential / block management experience

  • strong understanding of service charges, budgets and Section 20

  • confidence interpreting leases and supporting colleagues on technical matters

  • experience dealing with residents, leaseholders and escalations

  • some experience leading, supervising or mentoring others, or clear readiness to step into that space

  • a proactive and organised approach

Experience within prime central London, high-end portfolios or complex residential estates would be advantageous, but the emphasis is on the quality of your experience and your ability to operate with confidence and credibility.
