A market-leading real estate advisory firm is seeking a commercially astute Surveyor to join its Lease Advisory team, specialising in Landlord & Tenant matters across a broad range of operational real estate sectors.

Our client is recognised for its deep sector expertise across hospitality, leisure, healthcare, childcare, convenience retail and medical assets. Its client base includes developers, institutions, funds, family offices, operators and local authorities.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in a growing team, supporting a Director with lease advisory mandates across the North of England. The successful candidate will provide expert advice on rent reviews and lease renewals, acting for both landlords and tenants.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake rent reviews and lease renewals across sectors such as hospitality, medical, leisure, retail and childcare

• Conduct inspections, measured surveys and valuation assessments

• Analyse lease terms and comparable evidence to advise on rental values

• Negotiate on behalf of clients and draft heads of terms

• Prepare reports and submissions for third party or court proceedings if required

• Support with business development and client reporting

Ideal Candidate

• MRICS qualified with 1–5 years’ post-qualification experience

• Proven experience in lease advisory (hospitality or healthcare experience advantageous)

• Strong negotiation and communication skills

• Comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels

• Analytical and commercially aware, with strong reporting and presentation skills
